A POCKET WATCH BY FERDINAND A. LANGE.

This 1A quality pocket watch was built in 1868, four years after the introduction of the three-quarter plate. Although Ferdinand A. Lange had long been crafting his masterpieces in Glashütte at that time, he chose "Dresden" as the place of origin until well into the 1870s.
  • Gilt 1A quality movement: Three-quarter plate, screwed gold chatons, engraved balance cock with diamond endstone, large compensation balance with gold screws, lever and escape wheel in gold
  • Enamel dial with small seconds. Signature: A. Lange, Dresden
