TRUE TO THE TRADITION OF THE GREEN VAULT.
The art collection of the Green Vault at the Royal Palace in Dresden is world-famous. It was established by Augustus the Strong when he began to assemble an unprecedented repository of supremely precious creations of gold- and silversmiths, extravagant jewels, and exotic materials. A penchant for beauty is part of Saxony’s heritage to this very day. Lange’s master watchmakers are continuously inspired by this passion as well. It comes to the fore in their elegant jewelled watches housed in 18-carat gold cases that are lavishly set with brilliant-cut diamonds or other precious gems.
A MODERN INTERPRETATION OF SAXON GLORY.
The SAXONIA AUTOMATIC is the contemporary interpretation of the legendary era of Saxon Glory. While its name refers to watchmaking skills and craftsmanship perfected across the centuries in the Free State of Saxony, its lavish manually finished inner virtues and the artistically crafted exterior are unique and impressive manifestations of the current status of this tradition.
PRECIOUS MATERIALS.
The case of the SAXONIA AUTOMATIC is crafted from 18-carat white, pink, or yellow gold. With a diameter of 37 millimetres and a hand-stitched white crocodile strap, it is a perfect fit for the feminine wrist of its owner. Faced with natural mother-of-pearl, the dial in solid silver is framed by an exceptionally precious ring of fire: the bezel is set with 68 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 0.8 carats.
