It owes its elegance to the solid-silver dial with the two subsidiary dials for the small seconds and the day/night indicator. The blued-steel hour hand for home time clearly contrasts against the gold hands for the zone time or local time. If a second zone time has not been defined, it is hidden beneath the gold hour hand.
THE USEFUL FUNCTIONS OF THE SAXONIA DUAL TIME.
The SAXONIA DUAL TIME features a second time zone indication that can be conveniently set with pushbutton ease: The solid-gold hour hand that indicates local time can be moved forward or backward in 1-hour steps at each transition from one time zone to the next. This is done with two push pieces located at 8 and 10 o'clock. The progression of the minute hand is not affected. The second hour hand in blued steel reliably indicates the time at home. The 24-hour display at 12 o'clock always provides an unambiguous reading of time. It is coupled with home time and is also paired with a day/night indicator. So when travelling, the owner of the watch always knows whether it is day or night at home.

The SAXONIA AUTOMATIK is available exclusively in 18-carat white or pink gold. Every case is carefully finished and polished by hand. Each one has a unique, engraved serial number. The watch comes with a crocodile strap and an engraved gold buckle. Its solid-gold winding crown with the embossed Lange signature is protected against splashwater. And the sapphire-crystal caseback reveals its precious heart: the Lange calibre L086.2.
